Stay the course...
As I was driving to an appointment, I noticed that the driver behind me seemed to be on my tail. When an opening in traffic appeared, I switched to the right lane. In doing so, my eye kept going back to that particular vehicle; specifically how they were moving through traffic. As I exited the freeway, I could see that vehicle ahead of me in the distance. It was then that I heard, “stay focused!”

As you transition from one place to another, staying focused will be key!
I was immediately reminded of Jeremiah 29:11. God already knows the plans for our lives and how He wants them to be executed. When I got in my car, I already had an intended destination in mind. For a short moment, I got distracted by the other driver instead of focusing in on my course.
As I head back to the classroom after summer vacation - as you transition from one place to another, staying focused will be key.
I realized that in my short moment of distraction, there were things that I should have been paying attention to that I missed.
Once plans have been set and instructions have been given, it is critical that you stay the course and stay focused so that you don’t miss any course adjustments along the way.
It’s so easy to get caught up in others’ courses or even think that you can assist when you need to be focused on your assignment. Just as there are lanes on a track, every runner has their own lane for a reason. Runners get disqualified if they go into another’s lane. They lose time if they’re constantly looking to the right or left.

You must come to the point where your total trust is in Him despite what may come up along your journey.
You must come to the point where your total trust is in Him despite what may come up along your journey. Know that the challenges that come are only designed to make you stronger! They fortify and qualify you for what’s ahead. No matter what, you must keep moving forward while listening for the next instruction and stay focused.
I want to encourage you not to become weary in doing good. What is doing good? Doing good is adhering to the plans that God has for your life while using your gifts to assist and impact the people, places, and things that He’s ordained.
Be encouraged and know that you will reach your goals! Stay the course and partner with God, the Holy Spirit, and your assigned angels as they will help you to hit the target every time!! You’ve been designed to win! You already have everything that you need to succeed. You’re not finished but just getting started so make a decision to Stay Focused!
"I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.”
